Candle Care
WICKED & LOADED
We recommend trimming the wick after three hours of burn time. Carbon build up on the wick does not affect the quality of the candle or the scent throw. Cotton wick are a combustible material. When the wick is burned for extensive periods the carbon will build up. This happens because the fragrance is pushing through the wick faster than the cotton wick can combust. A mushrooming wick can be unsightly and contribute black soot to accumulating on the glass. Wick with a large bloom can cause a glass vessel to break. So, please follow our advice and care for your candle properly. The secret is to trim your wick to 1/4" before burning and limit the burning session to the suggested three hours at a time.
